Great Set

I bought this set because I needed only Fisherman's Pliers. However, I did not regret this purchase. Cutters are tough and sharp, Long-noses are also very useable. Material seems to be holding well against corrosion.

The tools seem to be of good quality, excellent value in the package.

Fisherman's Tool Kit Rusts Easily

I would strongly recommend against purchasing this tool kit if you're fishing in Salt Water. I used the kit once, washed the pliers thoroughly with fresh water after use , dried the pliers than stored them in my fishing tool box. A few days later, I discovered that the pliers were rusted through completely. Tried to use WD-40 to loosen them but it did no good. Bottom Line--Not good for salt water fishing

pliers froze up after 3 months

"No environment is too harsh for these tools. Soft grips give you a comfortable, secure hold in any weather." says the description.
They do work well - especially the long ones getting hooks out of 36" bluefish, but after a month of salt water use, and being stored on our boat - even though we rinsed and dried them each time, we can't open either of the 2 pairs of pliers. Haven't had a problem with the cutters, but we don't use them as often.
They are comfortable, strong pliers and worked great - for awhile...
