Cabela's Advanced Anglers Proseries On-Board Marine Battery Chargers Reviews:

Positive Reviews:

Best advance I have found.

This unit charges two group 31 batteries and maintains them. The charge is at 6 amps and then automatically safely maintains the charge at 13.5 volts. One unit, two batteries, light weight, way better than the charger I purchased 12 years ago. Runs my 55p thrust Min coat 7 hours of electric trolling, with three guys in the 17 ft Alumaweld. Very happy!

So far so good

I ordered the Pro 12. I have only had it in for a month, but so far, has worked great. Both batteries charged and no more disconnection wires or charger. Install only took 30-40 minutes for me. basically "plug and play". You need to get some #10 marine/stainless wood screws as mine came with everything but that.

great value

Just what I needed to keep my batteries charged and ready for use. Should have done this long ago.

Negative Reviews:

Do the right thing

I trashed this charger previously and that's not fair. I have since been educated, bought experience you could say about chargers and battery's. The manual doesn't tell you not to use an extension cord unless its a 12/3 ga. I plugged a 3 bank and a 2 bank in a 16 ga 30ft cord. On the same outlet., that pulls to many amps.
I recently bought the minkota 345 pc charger to learn this lesson the owners manual stresses it.. if running two chargers you need two outlets on a separate breaker and minimum 12/3 ext cord or battery charger wont charge correctly. and ruin the batteries.
