Good cot

The Alaska Guide Cot is a great choice for those of us somewhat above average size. Since it has a canvas bed surface it is a bit stiff to assemble until it has been slept on. If arm strength is not adequate simply sit on the ground and apply gentle pressure with a foot. In combination with the Deluxe Cot Pad it make a first class sleeping arrangement.

Love it

I've had mine for about 2 years now and I use it on all my longer camping and hunting trips. I combined it with a Cabela's deluxe sleeping pad and I couldn't be happier. I sleep way better and wake up much more refreshed, than when I sleep on the ground

Excellent Investment

Best sleeping cot I've owned. Rigid frame/fibers and oversized bed works well on extended hunting trips. Stays solid, easy to stow, and worked perfectly with pad. Very well made, no complaints at all.

Negative Reviews:

impossible setup

this is a very large, sturdy, affordable, well-built cot. that being said, it is impossible to get both end bars on the cot. used it in my ice fishing house, and my friends have had to sleep on it without one end bar. luckily it is a bit oversized so they were at least able to sleep on it. not sure how exactly to stretch it out, but it shouldn't be impossible to put together right out of the box.
