Good

this is my first pack. i bought it for my elk hunt this yr. i have very had a use for pack before. so i found this on sale and decided to try it out. it is very comfortable i am only 5'9" and it fit ver well. so for the price even if not on sale i would have bought. the only down fall is the lack of a gun holder but this is my only complaint. over all very good product....

Negative Reviews:

Not adjustable enough nor is it waterproof

My wife bought this pack for a mountain goat hunt. The frame is not adjustable enough for her height and became very unstable while walking. The material the bag is made up of is not waterproof, her sleeping bag that was inside the pack was soaked after a day hike in the rain. The length of the pack is also too small to carry a rifle. She was extremely disappointed that the only area to attach a rifle to on the pack was the lacing string on the outside of the bag. It didn't keep the rifle secure and was also like walking through the woods with a flag pole attached to the middle of her back. The rifle barrel stood to far up on the pack and caught on every branch that she passed. The bag needs to be redesigned completely. There aren't enough pockets or straps to attach anything to the bag. The frame itself would be good for someone taller but for a 5'2" frame it just wasn't feasible, and the bag well it needs some work.

Worth the purchase

Great entry level pack, the waist belt did a great job of distributing the weight - overal comfort was surprisingly good for a frame pack, comparable to my everyday pack. The only drawback to was that the material was noisy.
