Awesome boots

These boots are the best...I bought them for a trip to Maine and they worked wonderfully. We were there towards the end of winter, so I traipsed through bouth knee deep snow and mud and these worked so well. Kept my feet super warm and dry, I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

best boots buy

For the money, this is perhaps my best Cabelas purchase yet. The boots go on easy, stay warm and comfortable, and have surprisingly good traction, even on ice. And, they are quite light weight for the service they render.
Thanks for asking me to review. I've never done this for any other outfitter.

Negative Reviews:

Not warm enough

I got these on sale. These are comfortable. They are waterproof. They are not too flexible, but are ok to hike in, I guess. They are just not warm enough. the wool padding is not thick enough, and even with wool socks, my feet were cold. They are good as long as it is not too cold outside. Also, they don't come high enough, I work a lot with water. I'd give them a mediocre rating. I bought them because they are cheap for winter boots, but you get what you pay for. This has been pretty much my experience with all Cabella brand products. Hopefully I can return these. I say put forth the extra cash and buy real name brand things.

Look beautiful, but it's hard to wear

Purchased them for my wife. She wore them today for the first time and now her review:
"Tested new shoes. Protector is really good. On the ice is not slippery. Otherwise, more than 3 points, I would not let them. Very hard, in the rise not bend at all, so it has to go "Tumbleweed" only through the tread. And rubbed the heel and ankle. So hot, of course. For our weather (0 (2) C) they are unsuitable. In our winter 200 g is enough.
400g - this is for Siberia"
