Largest Target on the Market
I got my son the Diamond Infinite Edge compound bow and he needed a target. We researched about the Cabela's Bear 3-D Target and we realized that it was the largest target that Cabela's sold. The first few days he started out missing the target a few times. But within the 3rd day of practicing the trick was him missing the target. The best part about this target is the self closing foam, the spots that are hit at magically disappear within seconds after pulling the arrow out. The only thing that we did was spray paint the circles that were indented in the chest area flourescent green and orange to make the shooting area more visible.
Great Bear Target at a Great Price
I bought this target to prepare for bow hunting bear this season. Other than being a little smaller than actual average size (maybe it's a small bear!) it's been a great target. I've shot it with both field points and a few broadheads and so far it has stood up well. The broadheads did cut and pull out some foam when I pulled them, but not bad. Arrow retrieval is a bit stiff, but 3D target arrow lubricant takes care of that. I haven't shot the target enough to think about replacing the vital area, so I can't comment on that at this time. Again, a great, economical target.
New Bear target
Excellent target looks different than the catalog,arrow removal stiff, but stops those high powered bows no sweat.Vitals are replaceble but not visible when shooting, making a more true to life practice of shot placement. I like it would buy another one.

Cannot Remove Arrows From Bear
This bear would be great, except that the bear is made of some kinda material that makes it impossible to pull the arrows back out. Given the amount of money I spent on this bear, it is a big waste. Somehow when the arrows go in, the material closes in around the arrows and they cannot be pulled out. This bear is useless. BTW I bench press 300 pounds so believe you me, they cannot be pulled out. Waste your money elsewhere.
