Cabela's Berber Extreme Bibs Reviews:

A month ago, I purchased the parka and bibs to supplement my cold weather hunting attire after experiencing -9 degree weather during the past MN deer season. I haven't used the bibs outdoors yet but have used the parka in -20 degree temps on a weekly basis walking my dog. My evaluation thus far is that this may be the warmest hunting parka that Cabela's has offered. The bibs are of the same quality and warmth potential. These berber bibs are very quiet, soft and flexible . I like the large zipper leg openings which make them easy to put on over boots and other clothing. They are heavy duty and not made for walking great distances as you will most likely overheat. I plan on carrying these in a backpack to my stand. I have another Cabela's bib and parka that serve me well for the 32 degree weather, but for the real cold weather, these bibs and parka are going to be the real ticket to staying in a stand for a full day. Check out the Cabela's Stand Hunter Mittens, for warm hands, to complement these bibs. They are great! If you are cold wearing this clothing, it may be time to go home for the day!

Warm and tostey

they are a little bulky for walking, but they kept my legs and lower torso warm. wore them during the Wisconsin 2013 deer hunt and muzzle loader season with 20 degrees, and 15-20 mph winds. had a newer teck20 jacket that was supposed to be wind proof but that wind blew right thorough it. but the bibs were nice and warm. think i need to upgrade to the windshear jacket now. so i can sit all day.

Warmest clothes I've purchased

The jacket and bibs are very warm and the windshear lining really works. The only downsize is these hunting cloths are fairly heavy and would probably not be a good choice for long walks. I usually carry my hunting cloths to the ground blind with a pack frame and this scenario works great for me. These are quality hunting clothes.
