Boat Seat Umbrella

Just tried my boat seat umbrella when the sun began to heat up the day. It's quick and easy to insert and deploy in the seat back bracket. When moving forward into the sun, It shaded my head and upper body very well, keeping me at a comfortable temp. Going away from the sun was even better as I was about completely shaded and with a light breeze I was very comfortalbe. It doesn't sit all that high above your head but it didn't interfer with fishing activity in a seated position. One thing to watch for....if you get up from the seat the wind will turn the seat and fold the umprella and seat back down as it catches the breeze. I don't think this set-up would work very well in a stiff breeze like any umbrella. I like it for it's convenience and ease of use. I also sport a bimini cover but it does not give you any shade on the front seat when trolling into the sun so now I have options.

Boat Umbrellas

Installation is a snap and they work great to keep the sun off. Just be careful in gusty winds, I took them down when it kicked up just to be on the safe side. Also it would be nice if you could adjust them side to side also instead of just forward and backwards.
