Caldwell Tree Stand Rest
I bought one of these for my hang on stand that I have hunted from for the last twelve years. It is on the edge of a power line right of way so shots in the three to four hundred yard range are possible. I took what might be my biggest buck ever, a twenty one inch heavy eight point at 200 yards using this rest. It was great to have my rifle secured in the rest and ready for action rather than hanging it on a hook and worrying about something happening that would cause it to fall. The rest was good and steady and I hit the buck exactly where I aimed at 200 yards slightly uphill. Without this I'm not at all confidant in taking the shot I took. I would definitely recommend this rest to anyone serious about making clean killing shots on deer or any other big game. This is one of two Cadlwell products I purchased this year and i am extremely pleased with both.
Great Product
I am a quadriplegic and hunt from a modified golf cart. I purchased the "deadshot Treepod" after seeing it advertised on TV. I had the base mounted on the floor of the passenger's side and it works great. It has increased my field of fire to the right and left. It also gives me the confidence to shoot at a longer range. The first time I hunted with it I got a nice 6 point buck. The only thing I would like to see changed is to have a crank to adjust the height with.

If your lock on stand is over an area that will require a long shot, if you have practiced your long range shooting and confident in your skill, this item is the ticket for the stability for this shot. This item takes all the guess work out of the long shot. It is like shooting from a bench rest. You need this item.
