Cabela's Carhartt Duck Active Quilted Flannel-Lined Jacket Regular

Railroad Engineer in the upper Midwest. Right now, the 10 day forecast has low temps expected of -4, -6, -11. Last week , we had -5 & -7. I have yet to wear my heavy-duty Carhartt coat. This jacket does just fine. IF I have to be outside, in those kinds of temps, for longer than 30 minutes or so, I add a plain old hoodie under this coat. Severe temps or wind chills of -20 & below, the heavy Carharrt winter coat & bibs come out. My light jacket is over 12 yrs old., My Heavy winter coat is over 15 yrs old, Bibs are over 20 yrs old. Carharrts last, in what I consider to be a heavy duty, industrial setting. BTW, Cabela's stone washed Canvas shirts are also terrificly warm and long lasting. Why in the world they started embroidering their logo on the left sleeve is beyond me but I still recommend them, as well.

there doesn't seem to be any recent reviews so i thought i'd write one. i needed a new work jacket so i had bought this in-store after trying it on. it is very warm and not too stiff to move around in like some jackets are, especially when they are insulated. the pockets inside and outside are big and easy to get to while providing security for your items to not fall out easily. i recommend purchasing the protection package too in case anything were to happen to the jacket. i know one guy in work whose jacket's zipper broke and couldn't be fixed so that was enough reason for me to get it.

The Jacket is perfect I've had other Carharrts in the past but I like this one especially of the hunter green color. I'm a hunter and it was perfect to wear out there and was very warm when the cold front hit. Perfect jacket would recommened to everyone!!!
