Cabela's Chamois-Lined Ponderosa Jacket Regular

I needed a simple and rugged jacket for yard work during the spring and fall, and Cabela’s Ponderosa model should serve me well. I’m 5’6” with an athletic build, so I chose a small. The fit is excellent and true. There is ample room in the shoulders, chest and back, and the sleeves hang perfectly. The jacket’s cut through the waist is surprisingly trim, giving it a sleek appearance. I especially like the large, stiff collar, and the front slash pockets are deep and lined for warmth. Worth noting is the jacket’s longer length (about 5” below my waist), which can hinder movement somewhat when zipped. On the negative side, the interior pocket is a few inches too high, making it tough to access. This is a nicely made jacket, and a good value as well.

I don't usually wear brown, i'm mostly a black/gray color person, but this jacket is nice and warm and sturdy. The inside pockets are amazingly soft and warm, perfect for cold weather! really, the only con i'd say is the collar. that thing is HUGE when you pop it up, plus it's kinda thin and hard compared to how soft and thick the rest of the jacket is.

This is a nice light wieght jacket that fits well for work or play.

The dress quality is ok, but the waist is too small
