Awesome Ultra Light Combo

My brother introduced me to this combo two years ago and we've both had great fun with this setup. I've got the smaller 4'6" rod and I love the fact that it breaks down to 2 pieces. I now do primarily ultra light fishing and this combo is fun for small and medium size fish. We've even caught a small northern off the river on this setup - it was about a 3 minute battle to get it over to the boat. I don't go fishing without this rod in my boat.

Negative Reviews:

Reels are fine, rods are horrible

I bought 3 of these set ups. 2 of the three rods broke for no reason that I can find. The third is still currently intact, the rods also are not all that sensitive. I wouldnt buy again, at least not the rods.

Good but....Tip is liable to break off

This is a nice little pole that I have for trout and small mouth bass. I actually have two of them. The issue is that the graphite is of pretty poor quality. I have broken the tip off multiple times with just normal fishing. Luckily Cabela's is easy to work with and have replaced the pole going on the 4th time--my only concern is that they are going to get tired of replacing the pole. I would recommend finding something with a little better quality of graphite. I really wish this pole would have worked out better. I say buyer beware.

Great Reel Rod?

Purchased two combos late season of 2011. No problems with either rods or reels on our small to medium fishers here in Wyo. Great on the rivers, streams, ponds and lakes and easy to backpack in to the high country. Purchased a third early spring of 2013 and rod tip broke feeding line through. Should Cabela's state they have the rod problem fixed I will purchase the combo, mean time rather pick up a couple of the reels for just about the same price as combo and get a decent rods.
