Love this vest
I'm a trap and sporting clay shooter. This vest is ideal for both although a bit warm for Southern Arizona in the summer. I don't really care about the recoil pad pocket (mine has one) as we don't shoot heavy loads. I'm an XL and the vest fits just a tiny big large - I think of it as "room for lunch."

One of the best - for less $.
I own five shooting vests for skeet, trap and sporting clays and this is the one that I wear the most. Since I shoot "low gun" quite a bit, the full length leather pad is a big plus. The quality of materials and workmanship in this vest are equal to or better than two of my other vests that cost significantly more. A great buy!
Great but....
This is a great vest but the gun metal grey is more purple than grey. I liked the vest so much that I thought a good washing might grey the vest but it hasn't. Wish I had just returned it for the brown one. As I said....great vest just color problem on the grey one.
Best vest for the trap shooter.
Lots of features, spare shell loops, loop for ear muffs, pad for carrying gun on off shoulder, and it fits great.
