Cabela's Cmc Pt35 Small Outboard Tilt And Trim By T-H Marine -
Looking for the best value in a kicker lift? CMC Power Tilt and Trim is just that. This compact, lightweight trim unit is made for motors 35 hp and smaller, both clamp-on and bolt on motors. The engine setback of 5-1/2". enhances the boat stability and enables the prop to get a better bite at a higher prop setting. Raise and lower the motor with a touch of a switch, enabling you to save your back from leaning over the transom. The waterproof marine electric hydraulic system is rated at 7800lbs. of thrust-40% more powerful than other brands. Fresh or saltwater use.

Excellent Purchase

Bought this last fall and installed it today. Works great! I have a 1999 Lund with a 2011 Mercury 25 4-stroke. I'm very delighted with this rig now. The ease of putting the unit on the transom was simple. On my rig, the unit sets exactly 1" above the transom (on each side where the lips are on the unit). The middle of the unit sets level with the transom. After the install, I then hoisted the outboard onto the unit. I had the same measurement from the bottom of the skeg to the floor as I did before I installed the unit. Fantastic! The wiring was simple and now I'm only a few inches away from raising/lowering my outboard. Thanks Cabela's for stocking this item.

Awesome Product

This product fit our Lund boat with 25 HP motor perfectly and works great! It took several people to help lift the motor off of the boat while installing but went on with good measuring and planning and is a wonderful solution for lifting a heavy motor.

Negative Reviews:

4 years in operation

In the middle of this 4th year the unit stopped working. The reason: burnt engine coils and partially melted brush sockets. Since I am boating on the other continent to get spares would be more expensive than a new purchase. Some local wizards recoiled the motor but the brushes can not be installed the way they should. As result the device works w/o load and does not work with it. The reason may be an accidental overloading. To avoid this some end switches can be added to the unit.

Bad relays

Works great until relays get wet. Installtion instructiins could be clearer, but works as it should. Expensive though
