Cabela's Zonz Colorphase Insulated Bibs Reviews:

Dull Colors but Warm

My wife got me the ColorPhase bibs and jacket for Christmas after she saw them on a TV program. I was skeptical at first, but the product lives up to its claim that it changes color depending on the temperature. When it is warm the vegetation pattern (and only the vegetation) is green. When it is colder the vegetation pattern is brown. I agree with several of the other reviews that there is a distinct smell, but after several washes and storing with scent blocking dryer sheets I cannot tell a difference. My biggest complaint is that the entire pattern is dull. It does not have the distinct "pop" like some of the other camouflage patterns on the market. With that being said, they work well for duck hunting as they almost appear like a duck blind pattern when cold.

Color phase

I ordered a set of bids and a jacket online.
When they arrived I noticed a not so pleasent odor.
I washed then twice in scent killer soap, sprayed them down good with scent killer spray, then left them outside in the sun for a day. those are the things I do to rid my clothes of odor. I have not had any trouble with animals smelling me. These Bids and jacket while not as strong they still smell. You know if I can smell them, any critter with a nose better than mine will too. If they all smell this way, I'd say you could use them for turkey hunting that's about it. They did fit well and the colors did change when the temp changed...that is very cool. Will they spoke game?? I'll let you know.
