Cabela's Control Post Pedestal/Seat System -
Adjusting from a completely flat position to 90° upright, the Control Post guarantees complete custom-like comfort during even the longest days on the water. The secret to its unmatched adjustability is an innovative ball mount. Simply loosen a friction knob on the rear of the mount and effortlessly position the cushioned seat anywhere you desire - upright for enhanced lower back support or at an angle to take pressure off your legs. The die-cast aluminum Power Rise pedestal offers instant height adjustment at the touch of a two-way lever. And it’s machined to .002 tolerances for wobble-free performance.

Cabela's Control Post Pedestal/Seat System Reviews:

Positive Reviews:

Quality product

Very stable platform, flexible application to either lean against or sit on - and rugged enough to support my 215 lbs even in heavy wakes/boat rocking.
"Just what the Dr. Ordered" for my lower back pain - allows me to stay on the water longer and with less discomfort.

Good seat but expensive

I don't like to sit while fishing and the seat helps my legs make it through a long day on the front of a bass boat but it seems a little overpriced for what it is.

Control post pedestal seat system

After two of these, I am totally disappointed. Both never lasted more than 6 months. I can't understand why they are nearly $200. There isn't much to these pedestal/seats. They are not repairable either.
