Great for freshwater, too

Haven't had an opportunity to try this in saltwater, and probably never will. I bought some of these for Northerns (pike to you southerners) and have had great luck with them. Red and white seems to work the best for me so for. I haven't had one thrown yet once they're on, although I did lose a couple from snapped or bit through leaders (all part of the game with a fish that toothy). They cut through the wind better than I expected, considering I'm just using a 6 weight, and they're pretty easy to get some distance on when you need to. I would recommend these for anyone looking to hook into some Northerns with a fly rod, and would also recommend choosing your leader carefully!

Versatile

There's no salt water around here, but they work quite well on smallmouth.
Plan to try them on steelhead on the St. Joe in MI.
I'll let u know what happens.

Speckled Trout killer

Worked great on specks in SE Louisiana. The specks have teeth, so these get chewed up fairly quickly.
