Cabela's Deluxe Split-Ring Ball-Bearing Swivels Black Reviews:

Negative Reviews:

deluxe ball bearing swivels

A fair number of these swivels are seized or very tight and require a thorough checking before use, I'm a bit dissapointed because evrything else I have purchased has been very good.

failed

I have never lost a fish because of a swivel but I did with this one. The ring is very thin and came apart when reeling in a large fish

Neutral Reviews:

Good value but poor performance

These swivels are a great value for a ball-bearing swivel, but they do not spin as freely as the name brand ball-bearing swivels. Sometimes it helps to give them a spin before putting them to use. Also, after a single session in salt water, the black finish was gone and the swivel had a copper finish. Not a particularly big deal, unless there are bluefish around to bite you off when they see the flash of copper.

Bad split rings

My last order of swivels had poor quality split rings. The rings would pull apart almost like the wire was to thin. I have never had this problem before using well over 200 swivels. If I have any further problems I wouldn't recommend them.
