using them for both deep water lake perch and makeshift spider rigging for crappie - changing weight size depending on depth and/or wind conditions main reason I went with drop shot, leaving a long tag after the bottom hook also allows one to get down to the right depths
These ds weights are not the best but good for the price. They do get snagged a lot more than the cylinder shaped ones. I bought two packs of these, one was good. The clips on the other pack were way too tight. Every time I would try to pull my line tight in the clip it kept snapping my line. I"ll keep using these for the river and the lunker city ones for lakes.
