Positive Reviews:

I don't think it can get any better than this!

I have the matching jacket and the combo is perfect! I kept warm on outright bitter cold days, dry on snowy and rainy days. Everything is adjustable from hood, jacket, and pants. Zippers offer convenience of easy to put on and take off. Wind does not penetrate. Convenient pockets galore.

Great Bibs!

I saved my Cabela's points to purchase these bibs. I'm glad I did! These bibs along with the matching parka kept me warm and dry. LOVE this product!!

Negative Reviews:

Great camo design, poor material

It’s a shame such a great orange camo pattern is spoiled by the odd choice of material used on this parka and bib overalls. As other reviewers have commented, it seems incredible that, out of some 82 reviews for this product, only a few have complained about the outer material being like Velcro. I got both the parka and overalls. As soon as I opened the package, I had misgivings about the extremely noisy outer material. After wearing it in the woods a couple hours, it was even worse than I’d imagined. The best way to describe the material is to think of a hook-and-loop material like Velcro. The Cabelas Dry-Plus outer material is very much like the soft or “loop” part of Velcro. Tree bark, branches, pack straps, or any rough object you encounter - even its own zipper pulls - forms the “hook” part. So anything that’s at all rough and contacts the outer material will cause it to make a SCRRRRRTCH sound like pulling Velcro apart. Even the calluses on your hand make a rough scratching sound as you pass your hand over the material. Every time I move, something makes a scraping sound like Velcro being pulled apart. I very much like the suit and the Blaze Horizon pattern, but the material is like a bad joke for hunting. Who would wear a Velcro suit for hunting? I decided to try an orange camo parka from another company, even though their camo pattern (very much like the pattern on Cabelas Gore-Tex parka) didn’t look nearly as effective as the Blaze Horizon. After getting the other parka, I hung both parkas from tree branches in the woods and took black-and-white pictures of them. As I’d imagined, the Blaze Horizon camo on this parka was very effective in the dense NH woods, and blended in much better than the other parka did in my B&W pictures The other company’s parka is also waterproof, like this one, but the outer material is softer and not like Velcro. It’s much quieter if you brush it past a tree trunk. So I was left with a big dilemma – do I want the better camo, or the quieter material? In the end, I reluctantly went with the quieter material, and had to return the Cabelas parka and bib. Cabelas was good about taking them back. If Cabelas would offer this great Blaze Horizon pattern in their MT050 parka, or in a less Velcro-like material, I’d buy it in a minute. Both parka & bib seem to be nice and warm. It’s too bad about the Velcro-like material

Sizes run very small

I'd say that overall the bibs are decent qualitym for the price. I like that the leg zippers go all the way to the waist. Problem is that they run quite small in the waist. I have a pair of medium bibs that I really like but they aren't very heavy. I wanted a pair that was bigger in size so I could wear a couple sweatshirts underneath the bib, so I bought a size larger than I normally wear. I bought these in a large and when I got home to try them on, they were tight, over just a regular t-shirt. I tried on my other mediums, to make sure I didn't gain 30 pounds since last season, nope, they were looser than the large I just bought. These are going back to Cabela's tomorrow. Too bad, I liked the bibs.
