A full-size down bag for a reasonable price.

I lost my LL Bean down bag 10 years ago. It was a 15-degree 550 down bag in the same length and width, 82 x 36. Since then I've been using two synthetic bags, and for anything below 40-degrees, I put one inside the other. Yes they keep me warm, but together they weigh 12 pounds. Too bulky for ATV or motorcycle camping. I recently bought the Cabelas XPG 0-degree rectangular down bag to reduce bulk on my ATV camping trips. I am 6'2" and weigh 280 pounds, but the 82 x 36 size is more than roomy for me. So far it's fine at temps down into the low 30s, and still comfortable (not too warm) at temps in the 50s. I am hoping that it will be comfortable at temps in the 20s, but that will have to wait until this fall and winter. My recommendation is to get a bag rated 20 degrees lower than the temperatures you usually camp at. You won't be sorry.

Very Satisfied

I purchased this for a Colorado Elk hunting trip that we backpack to basecamp. In the past I did get a little cold in my 15 degree Eureka bag and knew I needed to upgrade. I purchased this based largely on other Cabela Brand products I've used in the past and I'm glad I did. Though the low temperature was in the low 20's while I camped, there wasn't one night that I felt even a little bit chilled. I was very happy with this as we had rain and 3" of snow and everything seemed damp and wet. I was also very happy with the compression of the bag. I better compression sack would be the only thing I wish was different and that I may look for to use with this bag.
