Sweet & Light.

Grew up using the classic A frame timberline; but wanted more & lighter out of a backpacking tent; so happy i picked this little beast. used it this weekend up at mt rogers on the AT. rained the whole way up & set tent up in rain. but dried out fine. it was cold outside with 95% humidity, and no condensation above us, just mainly on inside of vestibule..to be expected. i was initially concerned about ventilation since closes up pretty tight with the vestibule fully closed; but no problems, stayed warm but not stuffy. the wife & i had plenty of room. you can separately arrange the vestibule into 2 or 1 if you like very easily.

the only nitpicking i have is velcroing the inside of the fly to the aluminum poles for added support & the side entry; but you get good support & more vestibule room that way though.

just buy the thing, you won't regret it if you're a backpacker who likes great features at a low weight & small pack size.

Compact, lightweight, waterproof

I bought this tent to do some warm weather motorcycle camping. My top concerns were small packed size and that it was waterproof. Weight and durability weren't a concern because I always car or motorcycle camp and usually camp around 4 times a year. The second time I used this tent, it POURED for HOURS, and I didn't get a drop inside. My two complaints about the tent are that the rain fly requires staking (but only at one point, and the ventilation with the fly on is not great.
