Positive Reviews:

Environmently friendly fire pan.

Great product for rafters or car campers.
Room inside when packed for gloves, wire brush (for cleaning grill), small metal ash shovel and Weber grill spray.
Cooks great.
Heavy strong construction.
Keeps fire from scorching ground.
Doesn't like being left outside (will rust). Don't use the grill when cooking with Dutch ovens.
I would give it a 5 star rating if it had break apart hinges for removing the lid.

Cabela's fire box

I have forgotten how good food tastes cooked over coals. I have gotten spoiled with cooking with propane. Well made and easy to set up. Need to find a carry bag for this. This made me slow down and enjoy cooking over coals and not be in a hurry. Jack on ice works well with this.

good product

I've used fire boxes in the past different brand same basic design. These are well made all steel construction. Should last forever. Been looking for some so when I seen these online I purchased two of them.
Remember all steel construction weigh in at +50 lb. each.

Good product but had problems

I bought this product so I could use my cast iron cookware and for BBQ's. I did not get to use it right away. Got to use it a few weeks ago for the first time. When I put it together I was a little disappointed that the legs weren't taller but had an easy fix for that. The problem is, there was no chain with it to keep the lid from falling backwards. Someone bumped it and the lid fell off. The rivets did not hold. The hinge came apart from the rivets that keeps the lid on. I can't return it because this happened after the warranty was up. I think I can fix the lid with some nuts and bolts but was very disappointed about it falling apart. It would not have broke it the chain for the lid had been attached or at least in the box with the rest of the parts. Other than that I like this product. I will like it more if I can fix it.
