Cabela's Fly-Tying Bag Reviews:

great value when you are starting out tying....

Other's comments are to some degree true in that this case could be a little larger. But given how much some competitor products cost, you could purchase a simple plastic travel box from an art supply store for large wings, etc. that you'd like to take with you. I draw an analogy with backpacks....the bigger they are, the more likely you will find ways to keep stuffing them full. This has room and keeps things separate for those wanting all the basics. It seems to be quite durable and I am hoping it will serve me well for years to come. Another point of reference with holding a vise. I have a griffin Odyssey vise and once broken down, it easily fits in one of the outside pockets with a c-clamp base. If you have a pedestal base, you may not have room. Hope this helps.

good value

Overall very satisfied- I fit my vice in the ample outside pockets but would have rathered more large pockets than the split ones on the inside- easier to fit my materials in- some who have more trout materials may not have the issue- beats the cardboard box I was taking to club tying days! appears good quality.

Should be bigger

TThe only reason i don't give it 5 stars is because it should be bigger, it is very sturdy but sometimes you want to carry full capes and birds like partridge and grouse, hen capes sometimes are big!I would make it 1 inch "thicker",2 inches wider and 2 inches longer! It is a good value!
