Cabela's Folding Telescopic Nets Reviews:

This is a cleverly designed net with a few shortcomings. I like the way it folds and unfolds. Very compact and handy. It is best designed for a trout bank fisherman. There is a way of unhooking, unfolding, and telescoping the net with one hand. Nice.
HOWEVER...the net is quite deep and the holes close together, so it collects a fair amount of water while in use. The opening is kind of small, so if your fish is 12" or more, it can be tricky getting it into the net. The first net I purchased would extend....but then the twist handle locked and would NOT collapse. So... in all, it's okay, I use it on a boat, but will be looking for a net replacement for my old aluminum framed net.

Nice little net

I found this net on sale, so I thought it would be perfect for kayak fishing. I have used the net 5 trips or so, since purchasing it. I love the net. It folds up nicely for storage, and not difficult to open one handed while fighting a fish. The only negative I have is that hooks get hung up in the netting quite a bit. Still very nice little net, I would and have recommended it to others.

Very Good Net

I like this net so much, I have bought two and I still recommend them to friends. Its very handy for a raft, small boat, or even a shore walker like myself. This net is bigger than the trout nets and can handle smaller salmon. I like the simple one hand operation and the fact it packs away nice and neat in my pack.
try it, you will like it. One of the better products on the market today.

Handy net

This net is just what I was looking for to use while kayaking in remote areas. It folds up and is easily accessible when needed. I would recommend it for a light weight portable piece of equipment.
