Good motorcycle camping tent

I have used this tent 3 times for 2-4 day motorcycle trips. Got rained on a lot so I know the tent is waterproof and roomy enough for 2 people + gear. Pro: Tent is easy to set up and take down. Roomy with a high enough ceiling to sit and crouch comfortably. Con: The stakes are the typical toothpicks so buy better stakes when you get the tent. Only one door and no windows so bring clothespins to lift fly in back for ventilation. There is no "footprint" tarp to go with this tent. If you use a generic tarp it will collect and store water between the tent floor and the tarp. This makes the inside of the tent wet by seepage through the floor. Summary: Good inexpensive tent for summer camping. Easy assembly. Lacking the features found in more expensive tents but these can be worked around.

Well worth the money and better.

Ok i have looked around at tents and for the size and weight this one is great.. I have been on back packing trips with the Boy Scout troop here for 11 years. Two man tents are just to small for me because i like to keep things inside out of the weather. This last trip we had 3 adults in the tent with our packs and still had plenty of room. (the other two leaders are 6' 2" and 6' 4") We didn't have any rain so we slept with the Fly off. That way we had no humidity collecting on the inside of the tent, (which happens to any tent, if you breath in side it LOL)
If you compare weight and size and price this is an excellent tent. No frills but vary good quality. Its a great backpacking tent.

Cabela's Getaway 4-Person Tent

Used this tent on a long weekend camping trip with my son to Michigan's "U.P." It did a great job. We did not have any rain so I don't know how waterproof it is so that is why a 4 and not a 5 rating. Seems to be well constructed. I had 2 twin bed air mattresses in it on the floor and they fit fine leaving a space between us for our duffel bags. It is rated at 4 person but would be pretty snug with 4 adults. There would be no room for anything but sleeping bags. Did not set it up prior to the trip but had no problem setting it up in about 10 minutes.

no windows

when the storm flap is on , there are no windows. We corrected this with clothespins to hold the flap
