Cabela's Gold Medal Wading Boots -
Extend your footwear options to accommodate a range of ground surfaces without having to invest in multiple pairs of wading boots. The hard-rubber cleat receptacles are compatible with both steel and carbide tipped cleats to double your ground-gripping options. EVA insoles and 1/4"-EVA footbed liners remove to make room for stockingfoot waders, or leave them in place for an added layer of warmth while feet are submerged in a cool stream. Dual-density rubber outsoles provide traction over a wide range of wading and trail conditions. Microscreen drains rapidly release water, while simultaneously blocking unwanted pebbles and sand from entering. Waterproof, full-grain nubuck uppers. Imported.

Negative Reviews:

Poorly Designed/Constructed

I got these the other night and put them on this morning to wear to work just to see how the felt. One of the metal lacing grommets pulled right out. Looking at it, there is very little backing to the grommet so the leverage in lacing the boot up popped it right out. Had there been just reinforced holes through which the laces went, I don't think this would be a problem. I guess an attempt to make something look high-tech. I will return them.

Very comfortable but the rubber where the metal studs go in ripped off during my first trip with these boots; first day I ever wore them. I'm exchanging for something else. If they can figure out how to make the rubber stay on they would be awesome boots but don't buy.

Bad Design

Bought these boots for my salmon Trip and the areas where you screw in the studs were just glued on and they just broke off leaving no traction very disappointing walk in the river
