Good Jacket

I live in the pacific northwest and it rains a lot and I didn't have a good jacket for all around use. The weather is usually fairly mild and this jacket keeps me warm and dry. It seems to be well made and I've had it for 3 months now. It is perfect for all the mild days, and if you layer it is good on those cooler days too. Why 4 stars? The hood is zippered. This is good as it can be removed, but the zipper is too loose and there is no way to prevent it from un-zipping, I find myself having to zip the hood back on fairly frequently. Overall this is a minor concern on an overall good jacket. My wife liked it so I picked one up for her too.

I bought these to replace some neoprene gloves that had become lost in a move. They are not a good replacement. The neoprene gloves kept my hands dry and mostly warm. They also gave good dexterity which is handy when you are winding decoy strings and anchors around duck decoys in cold wet environment. These are more ridgid than the neoprene gloves and make it harder to handle the decoys and get them in the decoys drag bag. They also dont fold down as small and take up more room in my shell bag.
