Cabela's Guardian Six-Person Tent -
Designed with your family in mind, our Guardian series tents are heavy-duty enough to carry you through three seasons of weather and the memories that come with each new adventure. The four-pole, free-standing dome design maximizes headroom, is easy to set up and adds structural rigidity in high winds. The near-vertical walls are made from 68-denier polyester, and four No-See-Um mesh windows provide a plentiful view of your surroundings while keeping bugs out and letting cooling airflow in during summer camping trips. Two D-shaped doors are easy to get in and out of and securely close with durable YKK® zippers. Enjoy weather protection when clouds roll in with the fully seam-sealed, polyurethane-coated, waterproof rain fly that easily attaches to the tent with buckles. Protected vents in the fly still allow for air to flow through the tent, and a roomy vestibule around one door allows you to protect gear from the rain without having to make room for it inside the tent. The rectangular floor not only makes for easier sleeping arrangements, but protects your family from moisture even more with its tough, tub-style, waterproof design. High-strength, reinforced overhead pole sleeves and color-coded attachment clips for easy set-up. Four interior mesh pockets. Imported.
Includes: tent, rain fly, four fiberglass poles, 24 stakes, 3.5mm-diameter guy lines, repair kit and polyester carry bag.

Cabela's Guardian Six-Person Tent Reviews:

Love this tent

Last year we bought a cheap tent for our young family, two boys 3 and 5, to experiment with some camping. We loved it and decided this year to upgrade our tent. We settled on this tent and we couldn't be happier. Contrary to another reviewer this tent goes up easy. My wife and I can get it set up or taken down in 10-15 minutes. That is not staking out all of the guy lines on the fly but several of them. We haven't had enough wind/rain to need them all. There was one part the first time that had us a bit confused, where to put the pole in the fly, but once figured out it's easy. We especially love the dual doors and dual vestibules. They are huge and allow for storage of most of our equipment at night or if we go for a day hike. The fly is fantastic, 100% coverage without causing moisture build up or you can roll one or both of the vestibules up for a nice airy feel. The zippers are very sturdy and easy to use, also quiet which is a plus when you don't want to wake up sleeping kids. Tons of room also. We have two adults and two children. The adults sleep on Alaskan Guide Cots and the kids sleep on the floor. We can easily fit my mother in the tent with us on another cot and still have plenty of room for a walkway. If I had to pick out one negative it would be where they sewed the surround pocket for holding things to the mesh of the windows. On our first trip my 3 yr old stepped into the pocket and ripped a small hole into the mesh. Great for holding flash lights, wallets or keys but not kids ... I explained this to Cabelas looking for a repair and they just offered to swap the tent. I love Cabelas!

Best tent ever

I have ran the gamut with tents and tent brands. This Cabelas tent is by far the best tent that I have found. It goes up easy, and by easy I mean in the dark with help from an 11 year and no directions, and the tent was still up in 10 minutes without any frustrations. The rain fly is superb with plenty of room in the front vestibule and another smaller one in the back. Zippers are very easy and quiet as well as extremely durable. There is also a ton of room in this bad boy for standing, at 6'2" I was touching the roof but could move around with relative ease and comfort and very minimal bending over or kinking of my neck. Although this tent isn't made for lightweight backpacking and such it is the lightest tent of this size I have ever packed around. I will be using this lighter weight to take this tent into some good backcountry. Going to put this bad boy through many great seasons of hunting, fishing, and great outdoor family adventures. Thank you so much Cabelas for such great products!!

First week went well

Very good tent, nice and roomy for a couple of large cots a folding chair plus lots of gear. I'm 6'-1" and had plenty of head room.
Materials are of high quality and sturdy.
We liked the large vestibule on 1 end and a half one on the other which gives you even more space to store stuff under cover. We also liked the ability to roll up the rain fly and let the breeze blow through.
1 person can set up this tent but it"s alot easier with 2 people.
My only gripe is we didn't get our thunderstorms to test out it's rain protection because it looks like it will stand up pretty well to the wind and rain.

Fall Bow Hunt

Cabela's Guardian Six-Person Tent was used this fall for the bow hunt. I found this tent to be one of the best that I have purchased. Held up great after two weekends of camping and some heavy rains. Easy to set up for two people. Thanks Cabela's for great products
