Cabela's Guide Tech Stockingfoot Waders - Regular

My first pair of breathable waders and first pair of stocking foot . I found the sizing chart to be pretty much spot on. Some others have said that there is too much length in the sock and while I found it was long , by pulling them up so toes are right to the end I experienced no problems with the socks bunching.
I used them to fish the west and east kiewa rivers in north east Victoria, Australia. Water temp about 3 to 5 degrees centigrade and with only a thin pair of thermals under I was very comfortable. Movement was great with the shaped legs. After wading for about 5 hours in thigh deep water with slippery round rocks underfoot chasing trout i became very pleased with my purchase just because of the comfort level they provided. I was nervous ordering with regard to the size but after measuring about five times I took a punt and I am very glad I did . Hopefully they last well as it isn't cheap to get them shipped to down under. Now to save for some wading shoes , and my beautiful bride now wants some new waders to.

I love these waders! I am 6' 3" 240 lbs. and wear a size 13 shoe. I wanted to order the x large tall but they were out of stock so I ordered the 2x regular and they fit perfectly. Lots of room in the bootie and length of inseam is just right. I've worn these several times Steelhead fishing in the Salmon river with fleece wader pants and I stayed very warm. I always carry a lot of gear with me so I love the guide pack that's attached to the waders. I carry just what I need on the river in the pack. Hand warmer pocket is great for warming hands or carrying extra stuff. So far no leaks or any problems at all. Thank you Cabelas!

Have now used these a total of 20 days fishing and a lot of walking- overall fantastic waders no leaks - but yes the feet a bit on the large size, however have not been an issue at this stage. stiching on gravel gards came apart and needed re-sewing by a sail maker but other than that great buy and would highly recomend
