Cabela's Guidewear Fishing Glomitts Reviews:

Great For Handling Camera in the Cold

I looked a long time for "fingerless" gloves that would let me keep a good grip on my camera in cold windy weather. You just can't make camera adjustments with regular winter gloves covering your fingertips. The glove part of these Glomitts is snug and warm, and does an excellent job of keeping my hold on my camera when I'm stubbornly staying outside the car in the windy/cold mountains. Even though these are only available as men's gloves, the (size small) fingers fit me really well and still let me flex my fingers. There's a band around the finger tops that kind of seals the cold out. The covertops don't warm my fingertips as quickly as I'd like when I flip them on, but they really do block the wind. I tried lots of other gloves and these are the best I found to keep my fingers mobile, grippy, and (mostly) warm doing wildlife photography in winter. A neat feature with these is that your thumb has it's own cover piece, separate from the large finger-cover. Definitely recommend these gloves, especially if you're outside in unpredictable weather.

Great for Most Conditions

I got these a couple of weeks ago and have worn them a couple times. They will work very well for late fall or early spring fishing trips on soft water. Ice fishing where the weather is not too cold will be great too. Haven't tried them in the really cold ice fishing yet, but I will bring them this weekend to try. No insulation, but with an air activated heat packet in the mitten, it may work out just fine. Great dexterity with the fingerless gloves, the thumb is a nice touch too. Very easy to pull the mitten and thumb cover over. Like the pull loops for easy removal. The quality on mine looks to be great, but haven't put much use on them yet. The sizing was as expected for me when I did the hand measurment.

Best gloves ever

As the title says these are the best gloves ever. Every year I buy a new set. Very warm and stops all the wind. Looking forward to next years set.

Very Nice

This is exactly what I was looking for. Ordered 2 pair, one for me and one for my father. We both love them!
