I wear this when I'm riding if it's below about 45 degrees. In England it's called a balaclava and has been mentioned on BBC news. The 'eye' opening can be stretched down under the chin for warmer weather. I sometimes wear it to bed to keep my hair from getting weird by morning.
balaclava arrived looking sleek and modern. material is smooth, may snag on whiskers. opening for eyes is not as broad as i would have liked, it covers the outer corners of my eyes. stretching it will not solve the problem and the mask will sag if you take this path. i am disappointed.
