Nice Family Day Pack

I picked up this backpack for our family's trip to Disney World. I wanted a pack that was comfortable for all day use and would hold plenty of snacks and activities for the kids while we walked the parks and waited in lines. This pack had just the right amount of pockets of various sizes to keep our stuff separated and organized. Two water bottle sleeves on the sides were just right for holding drinks. The straps are also wide, well padded, and with the suspension system, kept the pack comfortable for wearing on long days, sometimes up to 14 hours. The only changes I would have made would be to add a strap and buckle across the sternum, and maybe one across the waist. That would make it a bit more comfortable for longer hauls, but at the same time would make it more difficult to slip on and off quickly, which was a bigger necessity for what I used it for. There's a trade off, but to have the option would be nice. In conclusion, if you want a nice day pack with decent storage capacity, plenty of pockets, comfortable straps with suspension, and easy on/off, this is a great choice, and reasonably priced. All the pros outweigh any cons and I would gladly buy this pack again.

Large day pack

I was looking for a simple day pack for a gift and this sounded good. Although it is larger than I expected (especially at that price), it has so many great compartments for today's hikers that I am very satisfied with it. The workmanship is topnotch and it seems very comfortable, altho I didn't pack it full like I would do on a hike. The price was much better than other packs we looked at in stores that are similiar size. I would definitely order this one when I go to replace my 40 year old hiking bag!

Top Notch

Sierra’s “High Loop Day Pack” is fantastic. It is very comfortable, ample space to hold gear, and they thought of just about everything you desire to attach, hook and/or snap on the day pack. Minor suggestions: would be great if the pockets for electronics are made of stronger material, I use the top to for CCW, the packet is not designed for anything of weight. Additionally, an area to insert a hydro pack would be beneficial. Lastly, offering a larger variety of colors would likely appeal to more buyers.

Back Pack for everyone

We each took one of these with us on a recent trip to Alaska. We are not "hikers" but we love the outdoors and wanted something better than a school backpack, but not something necessary to be a Sherpa. This pack was great, held our snacks, alternate clothing, etc and was comfortable. We used it as our carry-on luggage and secured a small blanket and pillow for the long flight with the straps on the bottom and we could really load it all we needed.
