Nice Kit

This is a decent kit for the price. I know a lot of people will tell you not to get the rods that screw together. I had no problem with these being sturdy. Our oil hadn't spilled, like some others mentioned, so no problem there. I also didn't mind the plastic tray, but that's probably because I read ahead of time that was what came with the kit, so I wasn't disappointed. Only complaint is that the brushes aren't marked with caliber (or if they are, my eyes couldn't see it), so I have to try a couple out each time to see which fits best. I've started just leaving the one that I use most out of the box. I have a couple bore snakes that I use often for quick cleaning, and use this when I'm going to store the gun for a while.

Decent starter set but could be better

This is a decent starter set since it is useable on most guns. The rods don't always stay together well. The biggest issue is the plastic patch holders do not work well threaded into the brass threads of the rod. Mine took a lot of force just to thread part of the way in. Then they start bending just from the little bit of force from sliding them down the barrell (someone else told me theirs actually broke off).
Unlike someone else, my brushes were labeled.
