Great Tent

Purchased this tent for a recent camping trip. Was alittle nervous purchasing a tent since there were no reviews and was alittle more than I wanted to pay, but I have to say that this was a great purchase. It was easy to put up. It can definatelu be done with one person but is much faster with two people. Before our trip we set the tent up to seal it. We decided to leave it up for the night and got a huge storm. We had rain, hail, and strong winds for a good two hours but aftter the storm was over we were anxious to see how the tent held up and we found not one drop of rain on the inside of the tent. The poles are steel so It holds up great in the wind. We didn't even have any of the guy lines staked down. Having two entrances is great since we used the room divider. The zippers on the windows and doors are heavy duty. There is plenty of ventilation. It was close to or over 100 degrees each day we camped and we were comfortable but we did have a small hanging fan to circulate the air. There are storage pockets under each of the four windows and above each of the doors wich is nice. Another bonus is that the carrying bag is big enough that everything fits back in the bag once u take it down! I would prefer a tent floor that was made of more tarp like material but we can work with that. This is also quite heavy and takes up a bit of room. Since we have only used this once I'm giving it four stars but we are very pleased with our purchase and are anxious to use it again very soon!

Great Tent

Very good tent, just got it today and set up. Haven't used it yet, but very tall inside. I'm 6 foot and not problem anywhere. Of course the Cabela's quality is there. Easy to set up. While reading the instructions another person and I set it up in 10 minutes. Big enough for what looks to be 4 full size cots, 2 on each side and plenty of space. This tent has something very cool that is not on the website, and it is that the doors can be used individual, or the whole entire door can fold up over the tent, making about a 5 foot enterence, great for cots. also has separate screen and cloth doors. Which is nice so you can throw the cloth one on top and leave the screen down, getting great cross winds. All in all great tent

Great Tent

I purchased this tent last year and have used it at least 8 times. I love the amount of room it provides. I did not need any type of fan as it is well ventilated. We kept warm inside on cooler nights as well. Very easy to set up and break down. Have camped in a lot of stormy weather and this tent held its own. The flooring tends to hold a little water but I suggest using an inside entrance rug. A pole snapped due to heavy rain and I am returning this tent BUT am getting the exact same one. Highly recommended!

Negative Reviews:

Floor is not waterproof

We purchased our tent a month ago to up grade to a bigger size from our last tent. The size of the tent is great and you can stand up in it which is also great. The problem that we had was the floor of the tent is made of similar material as the tent itself. We had a good down pour and the floor was saturated and stayed that way till our camping trip was over, which was a week long. The tent other than the floor did not leak at all. I think if the floor was more tarp like, it would have been perfect.
