Cabela's Lightweight Coverup Pants

Ok...I'm no small guy and usually wear XL...and ordered L. Even so, these things were about 4 sizes too big, even with being a coverup to go over other pants. I felt like I was in a circus as the clown. No pockets or slits to access pockets in garment below either. Draw-string waist and the string won't stay tied. These are not the usual Cabela's quality and are going back.

Cotton made it can get wet

Let me start by saying that I have not worn this gear or the associated pants hunting yet... Just received it. However my impression upon opening the package and putting the pants and jacket together is that the pattern is not nearly as random as it appears in the online pictures. In fact, the pattern is very repetitive, (the included "seclusion 3-D" logo stamps making it look even more so). The overall impression is much darker than I anticipated and appears to just be machine stamped with no attempt to randomize the pattern at all. I expect that this will be adequate for my winter hunting purposes and may actually provide decent cover if in small thickets or brush, but will not be nearly as effective in open country. I'm sure if I combine this outfit with some leafy break up winter camouflage I already have it will more than suffice for my needs, but I'm glad I didn't pay full price for these items.
As far as size goes, they are baggy, but these are thin shells meant to be worn over heavy winter clothing, so the sizing appears adequate/appropriate to me. Included drawstrings help to cinch both top and pants up for a more secure fit.
I'll likely keep this set since I got them on sale. Just be aware of what you are getting if ordering and don't pay full price for them. The sale price I paid seems fair for what I received.
