Great boots for the money!

Very warm boots when worn w/wool socks. I deer hunt in SW Ohio where temps. can swing from 40 F. to 0 F. from one week to the next when I add toe warmers and have warm feet all day. I wear a 10 1/2 D and these boots were loose enough to wear two pairs of medium and heavy socks and still move my toes. I slathered the
entire boot w/snow seal to ensure they stay waterproof.

Warm, Lightweight, Clunky

These are comfortable, warm, and relatively lightweight for a boot with this much insulation. They are a bit bulky and clunky, but I didn't have any discomfort. The walk to my treestand was less than a half-mile, so this may not be much of a test if you plan to walk in a long way.

Not the best purchase ever

I bought these boots after I wore out my previous pair. My previous pair are the named the same but I'm guessing they are the pervious model. When I purchased the new pair I was surprised that they were 40.00 $ cheaper, now I know why. The boots are waterproof and warm, the uppers are nice. I wore them on a elk hunt in cold weather and they did fine. Once I wore them on a javelina hunt with more of a rocky terrain the soles fell apart and where uncomfortable. My older pair has vibram soles a sturdy hard rubber. These new ones don't have the same sole, they are a cheaper foam like sole. Good thing Cabelas has a good return policy.

Not Waterproof

Boots are very warm, my feet didn't get cold in below zero temperatures. They are not waterproof at all though. Just walking through light snow gets the inside of the boot wet. If you are looking for a boot to hold up in wet conditions, I recommend you don't buy these.
