The Cabela's media sifter pan was priced lower than any of the competing products I saw, and does exactly what it is supposed to do. Used with a reasonable amount of care, I expect this sifter to hold up just fine. I have my tumbler set up at the end of my bench, and I have a 5 gallon bucket on a stool beside the bench with the media sifter pan set on top of the bucket. When the brass is clean, I just pick up the tumbler and dump the brass and media into the sifter. A few shakes of the sifter and the vast majority of the media is in the bucket, leaving me with only the chore of upending the brass cases in the sifter pan to empty them of any remaining media. Then I pour the brass out of the sifter pan directly into the storage bins on my reloading bench, and pour the media from the bucket back into the tumbler, all set for the next batch. It doesn't get easier than that!
Finally got tired of digging with my hands through my cartridge tumbler and bought this on my last trip to Cabelas. Stick it on top of a bucket or container, dump in the cartridges with the media and gently shake. Works well and is much cleaner than a manual "dig through"!
