Would be good, if it fit

I bought this jacket for my boyfriend. He's an avid duck hunter and thought it would be a nice layer. He is 6'4", so he has long arms and a long torso. Jacket only fit around his middle. The arms were way to short as was the torso length, even after I bought a 2X. He said he liked it (unsure if he was just humoring me or not), but it simply did not fit.
