Challenging Assembly

When assembled I was very pleased with the blind. You can expose just your head with camo gear on, or slide down and hide your head completely. Your gun is easily concealed in a ready position and for an old guy like me a lot quicker for the shot when needed. In Texas we lay on the ground a lot and it is difficult to rise, turn, and shoot in a timely manner especially when you are cold, stiff....and older. I would have given it a five star, but the assembly instructions are terrible and difficult to work with. I finally gave up on them and put it together by trial and error. Nevertheless I recommend it to all and may even try it as a ground blind for deer.

great for a big man

I am an older big guy with a stiff back. This sit up blind is a little higher than the normal lay out blind, but still quite good. Using this situp I can still keep up with the young buck when the "Take em" word is given. I was a little behind in the layouts. This unit is much better for me and it is lighter. Have back trouble or keeping up gunning trouble. .... this blind is for you.

Great design

Just got the blind and started shooting ducks. What I like about this blind is you can sit up and see everything around you. The blind is very comfortable allowing you to be in the blind for several hours. I feel like I am hunting out of a lounge chair. Even thought it is a little higher profile with grass it disappears from weary duck eyes..... I am well satisfied

Questionable Contstruction

Pros: Like the other reviews I like the sitting position. The old abs just ain't what they used to be. Lumbar support and leg support pads are a great addition. The zippered end of the leg section will help with cleaning out debris. Cons: Too many plastic frame connections. Should have been made from aluminum. I hunt in Montana in extreme conditions. I'm concerned the plastic connections will become brittle in cold weather. If they break I'll have to replace with fabricated aluminum parts. Connecting bolts threaded into plastic connection? How long before the threads become stripped? Will drill out the plastic threaded connectors and replace the supplied bolts with longer bolts and nylon threaded nuts. The three star rating is based on the questionable construction and use of plastic frame connections. I won't be able to use the blind until next waterfowl season. Maybe I'll give it a try this spring for wildlife photography.
