Cabela's Outback Lodge Tent 8' X 8' -
Quite possibly the simplest design among quality tents today. Camping with the Outback Lodge ends the hassle of fighting with cumbersome pole sets. Setting up this 4-person Outback Lodge tent is as simple as (1) staking out the corners, (2) raising the single center pole and four internal corner poles, then (3) securing the guy lines. That's it; camp is made. You can even leave the center pole at home and simply hang the center peak of the tent from a limb for a lightweight spike camp. Walls are constructed of 190T nylon taffeta treated with a 1,500mm polyurethane waterproof-rated coating. The long-wearing floor is constructed of 210-denier oxford nylon. Double-pull zip-close door with zippered No-See-Um mesh panel. Three No-See-Um mesh windows, two new mesh-screen vents near the top and newly redesigned ventilation panels on the sidewalls reduce condensation. Plenty of headroom adds an extra measure of comfort. Stakes and stuff bag included. Optional floor liner for easy cleanup and extended floor life. Imported.
Floor dimensions: 8' x 8'.

Exceptional tent in bad weather

I purchased the 10x10 model in early Oct. and set up in a VT wilderness area at an elevation of 2700'. The tent stood unoccupied for a month and upon inspection
The tent had no water inside after experiencing several
Rainfalls and 1 snow event. I used a big buddy propane heater inside the tent connected to a 20 lb propane tank. After 2 weeks in the tent I experienced
No condensation even with single digits outside and the heater running. This tent has excellent ventilation.
I used a 20x10 tarp folded over under tent. The tent was very sturdy in 45mph wind gusts and shed
3 inches of snow very effectively. Zipper quality
Is excellent. I can't see the tent holding more than 2
Comfortably with cots and gear. Solo it's very nice size.
Set up by myself in 20 min utilizing all the stakes
Which were still holding up after remaining in place
For 2 months. Couldn't be happier with its performance. If u plan on having more than 2 occupants I'd recommend the 12'x12'.

Not Disappointed

I was looking for a TeePee style tent with easy set up. Found it. I camp out alot with Boy Scouts and use this as a base tent. First set up was at camp rather than the back yard. A tents a tent right. Set up was easy but there are alot of guidelines to steak out. I decided to set up in the more open area to test the wind resitance. We had steady 35 with gust to 45 here in West Texas. While other tents were folding, this stayed taught. NO zipper problems as I read about in other reviews. Worked great. Next camp will be 5 days with rain possible. Next review then on dryness.

Good so far - build a storage box

I haven't had the chance to put it up yet, but from appearances looks like a quality product. I got a ground tarp and the floor liner that was highly recommended too. Just for information, I built a storage box from plywood, to accomadate all three items in one place. The dimensions are 12 1/2"d x 14" H x 26" long.

Had tent 1 year camped all 4 seasons 60 days total, including one last week with 7 in snow .All I can say it took every thing mother nature had to throw at it.
