Outback Trading Canvas Breezer Hat

I have a neighbor that is outdoors most of the day like I am during warm weather. He had to have some skin cancers removed from his ears that probably resulted from exposure to the sun. He always wore a baseball type of cap and still does. I decided that it was time to start wearing a hat with a brim in place of a baseball cap to help keep the sun off of my exposed skin. I bought and tried a few different hats that did not totally suit me. I decided to try this Breezer hat from Cabela's about 6 years ago. This hat has been great to wear for outside work and for fishing. It is cooler to wear than no hat, a cap or the other hats that I bought. I have 5 summers on this one and it looks as good as it did when I first bought it. This canvas hat has no wire around the brim which is normal for this type of hat. The brim on mine has curled some on the sides so it now looks more like a western style hat. It is cool and comfortable. It fits well, is very fade resistant and is very durable. I bought the green one but now I kind of wish that I had the tan color that might be even a little cooler. I thought of also getting a tan one but I have this one just the way that like it other than color. The fit of this hat was slightly loose when I first got it. After a rain shower and it blowing off of my head into the lake. It seems to have shrank slightly to a perfect fit. So if you get one that is a little loose. Just saturate it with water, put it on and go on with your day.

River Guide Breezer Hat.

I needed a hat for fishing and other outdoor activities and based on research and favorable reviews, I chose this hat. It has all the features I need, plus my Hat Eyes Magnifier fit very well and stay put on the sturdy brim. I wound up buying two hats in the Sand and Olive colors. They are apparently distinctive looking because I have received comments when I wear one out in public. This hat is a good get. I recommend it.

Nice hat for the money

I have previously only used cheap boonie hats and ball caps, both of which never hold up for too long. Was leery of spending more money on a hat, but this one seems like it will hold up well. Heavy weight brim seems sturdy, and the mesh sides of the upper let the heat out very well. Only give 4 stars because I haven't worn it alot yet, but it seems like a keeper so far!!

Very happy with the hat. Keep the sun off the head and helps keep me cool.
