Pretty darn good

I'm giving this 5 stars but with a few observations. Compared to my old Legacy Fleece hooded jacket, which was very good except for the zipper, again, (what is it with these YKK nylon zippers?) The wooltimate pullover is a little heavier but still not bulky, a little warmer, the hood is perfectly sized, and the length is good, not jacket length, but I find that too short. Now....
The lining is not nylon and doesn't slide over under layers as well as my Fleece, but the new fleece isn't nylon either, I'd like the nylon better. The back length feels a little short, I'm constantly trying to pull the back down, at least as long as the front or a little longer would be perfect. The kangeroo pocket seems tight, but being a pullover, when you take it off, everything in it falls out anyway, so I guess that's a wash.
I like the camo pattern, just wish the brown was darker, as the whole look is" light" compared to most of the backgrounds i'm in. The cuffs are nice, better then the knit wrist style and trimmer then just the hemmed hole, as in the fleece. All in all, I like it, A full zip version would be easier to get in and out of, and would be my preference, but this'll work.

Great Jacket

I live in South Mississippi and got this for a Christmas present from my wife. I've been wanting a jacket that will work in cold to freezing weather without having to wear coveralls and deal with the bulk of those. I've used this on two hunts and during this really cold winter. The jacket is outstanding and will work with just a t-shirt in cold temps and a sweatshirt when its below freezing. I used it with just a long sleeve shirt when its sleeting and 24 deg with 25 mph winds no problem. Lightweight and low bulk, quiet, windproof, and the big zipper makes it easy to put on/off. The hood is also big enough to wear with your hands in the pockets without smashing the top of your hat. Great product, now I want the pants.

Ideal pullover for my climate

I hunt in eastern Alabama from mid nov to the end of Jan. Therefore temps can range from the low 20's to 60's during that time. I searched wide and far for something that would fit this range and this is it. I can wear it with just a tshirt underneath when it's 50 out and be comfortable. Toss on some layers and it's good for 20 degrees. There's front connecting pockets. BUT! also a front pouch that zippers shut. I easily can fit rope, knife, water, binoculars, glkoves, and a hat in here to carry in and out of the woods.
awesome solution to wear hunting.
and i'm 5'11" 185 and wear a large.

Well worth the price

This is a great jacket. Kept me warm on early morning upland bird and grouse hunts. With windshear material there is no need to worry about wind. It blocks it out quite well. The large front pocket allows for gloved hands to fit inside. No disappointment at all. The wool blend used makes cleaning easy because it can be machine washed. Recommend for anyone.
