Cabela's Outland Fire Bowl Reviews:

Well Worth the money.

I was pleased to find the reviews so positive and had been looking for a suitable propane gas backyard fire pit. I'm happy to report this little unit is just what i;ve been searching for both in proformance and price.
The outside demensions are about 20 inches and only as high as 12 inches. I built up a small retaining wall blocks around the outside and set the fire pit on 6 inch blocks to increase the available hieght ,along with the surround and a top made from radius paving stones aprox. 12 inches wide to form a perfect size ledge for your wine glass or kicking back to warm the feet, the flame is ajustable from low 6 inches to around 12 inches at the peak output and the stones included remaining red for a short while after shutting down. (sorry i wasnt able to get a picture for this description) but i think you get the idea. With alittle imagination i was able to get a perfect backyard propane fire pit.Good value for the $$.. Now i'm in the market for a heavy duty weather resistant cover.

Wonderful for Patio Use

Wanted a gas set for our `spur of the moment` outdoor forays. St Louis is so changeable and we love to go outside and sit, have some wine & relax. Fast set-up, actually does give off warmth and looks pretty. Bought as a gift for my hubby and he really likes it (& so do I!)

Great Fire

This is a great portable fire. Nice to have a campfire even with most fire bans.
