Cabela's Pinnacle Shooting Bench -
Shooting comfortably from a bench improves accuracy and reduces the amount of time and ammo needed to sight-in. The problem is, most benches aren’t built for comfort. The Cabela’s-exclusive Pinnacle changes that. Inspired by the ergonomic chairs used by professional massage therapists, this revolutionary bench automatically positions you in the optimal shooting position to improve accuracy and minimize felt recoil. We spent countless hours in the field perfecting the design to ensure you’ll enjoy maximum comfort. An adjustable EVA-padded seat and sternum pad comfortably facilitate perfect shooting posture. With a 300-lb. weight capacity, it’s built to accommodate small- to large-framed shooters. Thick EVA-padded elbow rests help ward off arm fatigue for hours of shooting enjoyment. The solid front rest pivots 360º, adjusts up and down, and moves 15" side to side so you can easily set it precisely on target. The ABS plastic top with stabilizer bars has storage trays with cup holders on both sides. Pivoting feet keep the bench level on uneven surfaces. Folds for easy transport and storage. Powder-coated finish protects against the effects of weather. Digital Camo pattern on the seat and elbow resting pads. Imported. Patent pending.
Tabletop front dimensions: 26.5"W.
Rear dimensions: 38"H x 39"W x 15"L.

A little shaky

This is a good product. Out of the box, it took about 90 minutes to assemble. Instructions were not the best but that's expected. All the parts were there. It was just difficult to identify some of them.
The seat is comfortable. I'm not sure about the claims that this is the best position to absorb recoil. My .270 WSM seemed to kick harder in this position.
The only real problem with this product is that it needs to be anchored to something. Just setting it on the ground does not provide a stable shooting platform. We are experimenting with various ways to anchor it. Possible to a plywood base...maybe stakes. Not sure what will work best yet but we will keep trying.
All that said, the product is well made and seems suitable for the task. It's made of materials that will withstand weather and overall, I'm happy with the purchase.

NIce shooting bench

I found this bench to be what I expected, it is quite stable, right or left handed friendly. I thought it was very easy to put together, if you follow the instructions it was a piece of cake.

Negative Reviews:

Heavy, Clunky, and Doesn't Store Well

Received this as a gift from the folks. 1) The item weighs close to 60 pounds. Difficult to move it around and put it in the truck due to the weight (coupled with its' bulk). 2) Look at the photos. This item doesn't come anywhere close to folding flat. Unless you've got large amounts of garage space, this thing is going to get in the way. 3) The seat bracket on mine broke. Once again, look at the photo of the seat bracket. Not my idea of heavy duty. 4) Be careful when opening/setting up. Due to the weight and design, you need to watch out that you don't smash your fingers. Very disappointed with this item and wish the folks would have spent their money on something different.

Decent for the price

the top seems a little flimsy but seat is adjustable although it has a small learning curve to set up and take down but over all good for the money
