good hunting boot

Wore right from the box for two days in a row of turkey hunting. Boots were very comfortable right away. Kept warm and dry, even having to walk through a stream once. I wear a size 8 and was able to wear a regular athletic sock and wool socks comfortably. Very happy with my purchase.

Super comfortable right out of the box!

Wore these boots, which run true to size, all day the day they arrived. No sore spots, like most new boots, and my feet felt great at the end of the day. I highly recommend these boots!

Nice boots

Broke them in after a couple short hikes and they keep my feet warm and dry even with walking through a few inches of water.

Negative Reviews:

Not Waterproof

As I mentioned for my husbands boots mine were not water proof either. I wore them for two weekends elk hunting and my toes and top of my foot were completely wet after hiking each time. I wore wool socks, and my feet do not tend to get hot and sweaty in cold weather. My feet became very cold due to the wetness from the toes, and it took a while for my boots to dry out. Needless to say it was a very uncomfortable hunting experience since our foot wear was not as expected. We took back and exchanged for another brand water proof thermal comfort boot. They are a little big, but I can wear thicker socks on with them. These are comfortable to wear straight from the box hiking, although I noticed that my right calf was sore from the back of the boot that first time out. Second time wearing them was hunting and again they felt great except getting my feet wet. Mind you we were not going through creeks or streams simply hiking in the woods after it had rained.
