Cabela's Pork Chop Crankbait Reviews:

Good Cranbait for the price.

I have tried several of the pork chop crankbaits.
The squarebill has great action and cast good. The hooks seem the be pretty sharp and durable. Caught several bass on them and they seem to be holding up well.
Also tried the deep diver (10' -12') and extra deep driver (16' - 18'). To be honest, both look about the same. The bills are actually the same size on both models. The bill on the extra deep model is a little narrower at the base. Also, the extra deep version weighs more than the deep model.
I cranked them using a 5:1 gear ratio reel and I don't believe either one got close to their claimed depth. They do have good action and ran strait without tuning though.
These crankbaits seem to be good quality lures and worth their inexpensive price.
But if you want something that actually dives deep, get a Norman.

Good Crank!!

I have used these crankbait's several time's now,so figured I write something on them. They have an extremely loud rattle system in them.I have been catching lot's of striper's and monster white perch on these. They seem to be good and straight running right out of the package. They cast pretty well to,being a nice size bait. They don't twist and tumble in the air when you cast them, they tend to fly pretty straight and cast far.Only thing is the hook's need to be sharpened quite a bit. They have good strong hook's,but they are not that sharp.Took a good file to the hook's and now they are right on the money. The finish seam's to be holding up pretty well to.All in all a good bait!!

Pork Chop Crankbait

Nice big shallow crank bait good for fishing rip rap shores and points with submerged rocky bottoms. Best in stained water for bass of all kinds.
