Cabela's Prestige Plus No-Vis Tip Fly Line Reviews:

Good line, but not-so-"no-vis" tip

I bought this line in a #6 last summer for freshwater fishing in inland lakes and rivers for white bass, large- and smallmouth, carp, and other species. I have cast it only on TFO TiCr 6wt, fyi, and I own and love a few other styles of Cabela's WF-F fly lines. Anyway, the line has very little memory, and the memory it has can be easily stretched out by hand on the spot. 5-stars for that. The tip is a true slow-sinking intermediate and the running line floats high and is nice and bright. 5-stars for that. What I didn't like is that the "no-vis" tip has a flourescent yellow sheen to it from being stored on the chartreuse running line. It only seems to have gotten worse over time. Rather than being invisible, it is quite visible beneath the water, even in dingy/stained waters. If you absolutely need the invisible tip for stealth/shorter leaders, you should try the all-clear no-vis line or look at another brand.

Superb for it's use.

It's sometimes difficult to keep a line tight in a breeze. But with 12' of slowly sinking line staying below the chop, it;s a great help. A lot of my fishing is in still waters and with unweighted buggers. I intend to buy 3 more of these lines for other rods.

Great line for the price!

I recently purchased some Cabelas Prestige Plus after I wore out my Cabela's Prestige fly line casting for reds in Alaska. So far it casts great and keeps it's suppleness in the 36 degree michigan streams.
