Cabela's Real Image Jointed Jig-N-Spoon -
The jointed design changes the action of the Jig-N-Spoon to resemble more of a wounded baitfish during the initial drop, as well as when you’re jerking the bait up before letting it down again. This spoon also has an added lifelike appeal. The fins, gills and mouth on the bait gives it that RealImage the fish are looking for. Vertical jig this spoon over schools of baitfish or bounce it up and down on the rocks for incredible action from walleye, perch, white bass and even stripers. Rigged with quality Matzuo hooks. Per each.

Well Made Jig!!!

I purchased the jointed minnow jig for albacore fishing in the San Francisco waters. Whenever you can get the fish to come up and bite that little bit of tail action works great on the slide. I also use the jigs for fishing salmon in the delta and the Sacramento River region. The hooks are sharp but I prefer the ST36 Owner hooks for a secure hook up. Again the tail action has worked great for me in getting the fish to trigger on the bait. All in all I keep a good stock of the Jigs on hand; you can't beat the action or the price. Tight lines.

Good for deep bass in summer

I have tried many types of jigs and this is one of my favorite for deep holding bass during the summer months. It will sometimes tangle because it is jointed but most of the time it works fine. You can verticle jig it or cast it out and yo-yo it back to the boat. The hooks are too small to hold big fish on the smaller sizes but are fine on the larger sizes. I have found the larger sizes to be better overall for bass. I have changed hooks out on the smaller sizes though. Good luck and tight lines!!!

Cabela's RealImage® Jointed Jig-N-Spoon

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of these lures for the Bargain Cave price. I think they'll do well for jigging for Lake Trout this winter while icefishing.
Thanks Cabelas!

Negative Reviews:

Jointed Jin-N-Spoon

The jointed jig inherently has a tendency to foul on the drop and in rips. Can be frustrating. Use non-jointed metal jigs for better results.
