What a break in

Great boots, but the break in period, what a time. Still going through the foot akes. Still a quality boot and would strongly recommend them for work boots. Have to be patiences and endure thru the break in.

Negative Reviews:

Extremely Uncomfortable

I tried to break in two pairs of these boots, hoping that the first pair was a fluke. The rivets and overlapped leather areas feel like somebody took a bunch of pebbles and stuffed them down inside your boots before you lace them up. Extremely painful when squatting down or working on your hands and knees. They especially bind and grind on my ankles and outside edge of my big toe.
This is the 4th pair of Cabelas brand boots I've returned in less than a year. They used to be so good, I don't know what happened but the quality has gone way down hill. My first pair of Cabelas boots lasted me for about 10 years worth of daily construction work.

very comfortable

Boot is very comfortable. Used boot for working hunting and all outdoor activities. Feet did not get wet. did not experience problems with legs or back when working in wood shop all day. I did not have any problems with the boot until the soles started falling off. The separation started at the toe and progressed down both sides to the ball of the foot on both shoes.
